Rutland Foundation

We believe in unlocking the potential of the individual from youth to adulthood, through education and entrepreneurship.

The Foundation was established with a focus on Oxford and Cambridge Universities with two core aims:

  • encouraging personal, teacher-focussed support to pupils to broaden access to the two universities;
  • and promoting and supporting independent entrepreneurship in undergraduates and graduates at both universities.

We achieve these aims by originating, funding and providing ongoing support to projects that have quantifiable meaningful outcomes. This support comes both in the form of project creation, funding and engaging our unrivalled corporate and personal network to assist, advise and promote positive outcomes.

We also have a unique model for creating and sponsoring annual awards in partnership with institutions that share our values. These awards are created to encourage the development of the core skills that give young people the greatest advantage in life.

The Rutland Foundation is a privately funded charitable organisation and was founded in 2020. The Foundation acts in a private capacity, independent of any institution.
